Book Release

After years of working on this project, my book has finally been released. It’s been quite a journey and I still have to pinch myself that this is now a reality. When I pick up my book, it feels surreal to be holding it. I will be forever grateful to all of those who have helped make this happen and I can’t thank the people who have supported me throughout the process enough. I also want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has ordered the book. You are awesome! Thank you.

When I look back at the anxious and panicky person that I used to be, it feels like looking at someone else. Things have changed so much and I now feel very different. I’ve seen the importance of having a system in place for dealing with adversity and how difficult life can be without one. For some people this will come naturally, but for a lot of us we will have to work hard to establish this system. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what that system is, as long as it works and helps us to face challenges. For me the ideas within Stoicism, Buddhism, CBT and Growth Mindset have been my guiding lights. These are now my systems for facing the world. By pushing myself with various challenges, I have been able to test out these ideas in a controlled environment. It’s taught me so much about myself and the change in my life has been profound. I hope that sharing these ideas with the world will bring value to others.

I think that this whole project has highlighted for me the importance of action. By actively working towards creating something, completing challenges and studying philosophy/ideas, I have bought a new dynamic and colour into my life. I think that we can all do this too. Whatever it is that we want to do with our lives, it won’t happen without action. Taking that first step can be tough and it’s certainly been a battle for me a lot of the time. However, I’m so glad that I took the leap and started writing. It would have been all too easy to give up at many points but that’s all part of the journey.

The moral of the story – Take the chance and go for it! You never know what might be around the corner.

Thank you so much for your support!
